Red Barn is Amazing

We truly enjoyed the house. We hiked two days out of the three we stayed and would have liked to had some time to sit in the deck and look at the deer and mountains. Very quiet at night. Alyson is quick to respond to questions. Very tranquil. - Nadja

Checked all my boxes!

The red barn is beautifully appointed with all the comforts of home in an exquisite setting. It is close to Glacier Park and a quick drive to Columbus Falls for meals out. We loved hanging out on the deck for evening meals, and even for bird watching. We saw a prairie falcon and a northern harrier. - Anita C. 

 

Wow!!! This place was incredible! The beds though 😍😍😍

This place was perfect!!! Such a cute barn from the outside AND the inside. The best part was the amazing beds. Nothing matters if you don’t get a good nights sleep. We’ve hiked over 75 miles this week and sleep was important. The outside deck was huge to us too. Such a great view and beautiful place. We ate dinner outside one night. Great location, has everything

The Red Barn is located on a farm that's convenient to the west side of Glacier National Park. It had everything we needed for our stay and even provided conveniences for our visits to the park such as bear spray and a cooler. We loved sitting out on the deck looking at the mountains and watching the deer come across the fields. - Greg B.

The view of a life time in a home that feels like yours !

We stayed at this property for 5 days and everything about it was extraordinary. The family truly went above and beyond to make your stay perfect everything was amazing from the moment you pulled up, the Red Barn has everything that you need for an amazing comfortable, exhilarating, life-changing experience. Everything was clean, you have your own washer and dryer to use the beds were memory foam and, and the pillows felt like heaven. Each room had a different vibe and it allowed you to relax in any way! They had all the condiments that you need, and even a grill. Full internet, and smart TV so you can catch up on your shows if you want to. The land that they live on was absolutely fantastic, everything was well kept up, and you have a bunch of animals to play with. Everything was on point and made our whole experience perfect. I can't thank them enough for all their hard work and everything they put into their property. Staying at the Red Barn was the highlight of my vacation! It's perfect for families, or a nice romantic couples get away!! Roger

Totally awesome

Our stay at the red barn was absolutely fantastic. The owners responded within minutes whenever we had a question or found we needed something we couldn't find. Example: we needed a brush for the barbecue. I texted the owner and Alyson had her kids over with a brush within 2 minutes. It was fantastic. The view from the deck is unique from the barn, with nothing in between you and the mountains. The deck has a large table which made it nice for us to have dinner on the deck and just enjoy the view as well as deer roaming through. I would totally come here again. - Jochen R.

Beautiful,comfortable, and within easy access of Glacier Park

The Red Barn is an apartment that looks like it came out of a magazine. Not just beautiful but also functional and comfortable. Great for a couple or two singles. The bed linens and mattresses are luxurious. There was not a thing that we needed that wasn't provided. Kitchen is fully equipped along with basic cooking staples. Great wifi connection. Even though it is next to the owners home it is very quiet with lots of privacy. The view is amazing of the mountains by day and stargazing by night. Close proximity to Glacier Park, Kalispell, and Whitefish. Hands down the best VRBO we've ever stayed in. Deanne M.

This was the best vacation home we've done yet.

We got home late last night and the whole family misses MT, The Red Barn, Glacier National Park, the stars, the people and the list goes on. As a family of four The Red Barn was an ideal place to launch our daily adventures from bc of location, decor and comfort. (We would prefer to camp but that isn't in the cards for us right now.). The beds were comfy. The kitchen was well stocked and "flowed." The decor was comfortable and relaxing. All of the amenities were as described. The views from the deck kept us mesmerized. Home away from home

Where do I begin? Absolutely a wonderful place to stay. Located right between Glacier National Park and the quaint little town of Whitefish making either destination a quick easy ride. The property itself is amazing. Beautifully decorated, super comfortable beds and everything you could possibly need at your fingertips. The views off the back deck are spectacular, whether your looking at the mountain range during the day or the endless sky of stars at night. Best of all is the amazing hospitality extended to us by the Dorr family. From new playmates for my kids (who got their first lessons in raising pigs and chickens) to the peach cobbler around the campfire....everything was perfect. We will definitely be back to the Red Barn! - Kim C.

Perfect Base Camp to Glacier!

We travel every summer and always use stay in a vacation renatl, but this one has been by FAR one of our faves! Allison captures the feeling of the Red Barn wonderfully through the online photos, but it's not until you've sat and had a steak dinner on the deck as the sun is setting and the sweet breeze is flowing that you completely feel how truly AWESOME this place is! She also has some wonderful extra touches like bath robes and a sweet jar of huckleberry jam upon arrival and plenty of kitchen supplies in the pantry closet and fridge. The kitchen is uh-MAzing! If only we had known how great it really was prior to booking, we would have stayed at least a full week, not just 4 days. The place is immaculate - straight out of Pinterest!! I took pictures to keep the ideas fresh in my head for my own home. I love that she has books everywhere - and good ones!  The location is ideal. We could run for groceries without any issue (just a few minutes into Columbia Falls) and Whitefish was just a little bit beyond for shopping and fine dining.

Highly recommended place to stay with gorgeous views!

Our stay at Red Barn in Columbia Falls, Montana was absolutely wonderful. The home was well organized for our convenience and we had no problem finding what we needed to make it our home for the week we stayed there. It was very clean, with comfortable beds and linens and the home was well decorated. The owners were very nice and answered all of our questions in regard to making our reservation and had lots of information of the area available for us to make our stay complete. Red barn is located only 15min from West Entry of Glacier National Park and short drive to many restaurants and stores. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Would definitively stay there again. We had an excellent experience at the Red Barn! What a cozy place to relax for us two couples from Alberta. Tho the weather was dismal- snowy and rainy- the vies out the windows was breathtaking and we found lots to do at all the antique markets and Christmas boutiques open that weekend. Our stay at the Red Barn was incredible!

What a beautiful place with an amazing view of the country side. Dave and I shared this lovely place with our friends for the four days and enjoyed the outdoor deck to watch deer, pheasant, bluebirds and the beautiful sunsets. Beautiful, spacious, welcoming accommodations at the Red Barn conveniently located out of Kalispell, Columbia Falls, White Fish and the west entrance to Glacier National Park.

Two lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds and views from every window. The master bedroom walk-in closet can house another family! Bathroom is roomy with big tub and lots of storage, plush towels. Kitchen has everything you could want including a picnic basket to load up and take to the park. Loved the decor and fireplace. Incredible deck overlooking acres of green grasses with grazing deer and other wildlife. We loved the blue birds! The ridge in the back dips down to Glacier Park. A must is taking the tram to the top of Big Mountain for spectacular views of the entire Flathead valley and Rockies. And be brave and ride the luge; it was so much fun and not scary. Stop at the Huckleberry Patch for everything huckleberry. Make sure to drive to Hungry Horse Dam to see those sites. Everything is beautiful and the most is Going to the Sun highway; be prepared to have your breath taken away. And don't look over the side. Can't wait to return and spend more time there.

Perfect Honeymoon Get Away!!!

Stunning view, incredibly warm hospitality!!!! We couldn't be more satisfied with our decision to stay @ The Red Barn! It was exactly as pictured and then some! Fabulous location for our Montana honeymoon adventure. We loved how close we were to Glacier National Park and all the shopping and dining in Columbia Falls and Whitefish. We LOVED being greeted everyday by the Dorr's sweet pets! The Dorr family was so wonderfully warm and accommodating. The Red Barn came fully equipped! We didn't need anything to cook meals or do laundry! It really felt like home! All the thoughtful details put into this lovely home away from home really made the stay extra special! Solitude for a solo trip to Glacier

I was on a solo trip for my photography. The Red Barn was a great place to explore the entire region along with Glacier National Park. I had everything I needed, and certainly appreciated the local coffee and huckleberry jam. It was a blessing to visit before peak tourist season. Glacier allows hikers and bicyclists access to parts of Going-to-the-Sun Road before it is open to cars. I rented a bike and really enjoyed the solitude. Roger

Crazy beautiful

The perfect vacation! We went in March so we could see Glacier in the winter and it did not disappoint! The view from the Red Barn was gorgeous and only a short drive to GNP, shopping and good eats. Fantastic Winter Lodging - Ski Whitefish MT. 

We spent 5 nights over New Years with our teen boys. The Red Barn is a well equipped suite with plenty of little extras in the kitchen, good beds, laundry and covered parking. It was perfect for our family ski holiday-a lovely space in a peaceful setting (even in a winter storm!) Elaine

The best vacation rental you will ever find. Trust me!

There is nothing I can say that has not already been said and everything that has been said about the Red Barn is true. It is a dream vacation rental and one you will struggle to find anywhere else. It has everything you need for an extended stay - there is nothing that Alyson has not thought of. The house is clean, warm and cosy. The equipment, products, cleaning supplies and towels are more than enough for you to feel like you are in your own home. The walk in closets for your bags are a dream and so spacious. Loved having a washer dryer available. The bed in the main room is a dream and you really wont want to get up every morning. We loved knowing we had such an amazing place to come back to after a long day of touring. The Red Barn is highly recommended!

Great place to stay for our first trip to Glacier National Park

The Red Barn was the perfect place to come back to each night after a long day of hiking in the park. The house was very clean, was stocked with everything you might need (including laundry detergent, dish soap, sample size toiletries, etc). We were exhausted when we returned at night because of all the miles we put in on the trails, so the super comfortable bed was a bonus! A beautiful, clean, romantic get away.

My husband and I absolutely loved staying in The Red Barn! It is beautifully designed and fully equipped with cozy blanket (if you go in the winter like we did, you will need them!) The property sits about a mile from the side of a beautiful mountain. As soon as we pulled up, I was in awe! If you are looking to visit Montana and be close to Glacier Park and some other cute towns nearby, this is the perfect place to stay! The hosts were easy to get in touch with and gave us some killer food recommendations as well. We LOVE the Red Barn! - Catherine

Amazing stay in Columbia Falls!

My husband and I stayed at The Red Barn toward the end of May while visiting Glacier National Park. And to our pleasant surprise, the barn is just as it appears in the pictures on this site!! Wonderful location and experience!

My family and I had an amazing week at the Red Barn. Alyson was very accommodating. We traveled with our one year old and she was kind enough to provide a high chair, pack 'n play, and toys for our daughter. The kitchen was fully stocked and the place was beautifully decorated. We also thought the beds were very comfortable. The Red Barn is located about 20 minutes from Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake, so it's remote, but close to where you're likely to travel to. We had a wonderful stay, and would highly recommend booking your stay as soon as possible so you don't miss out on it!

Perfect

We stayed four nights at the Red Barn. Over the years, we've stayed at quite a few VRBO/ AirBnB properties. My wife thinks this is one of the best and I'm inclined to agree. The property was spotlessly clean, with modern appliances and tastefully decorated. We've definitely never stayed at a VRBO property with a kitchen as well stocked as the Red Barn. It was the perfect location for us with easy access to Glacier Nation Park and Whitefish Mountain where my son spent our last day mountain biking. The location was quiet and after a long day of hiking it was relaxing to soak in the Jacuzzi tub. We would definitely stay at the Red Barn again, and would recommend it to family and friends. - RON
